Husband, father and robotics enthusiast, Tripp is a director who is constantly in search of inspiring stories to tell.

    Most recently, Tripp directed the pilot and two episodes of the single camera comedy, Life After First Failure starring Gia Mantegna and Brianne Tju which is currently airing on CW Seed. As a directing show-runner, Tripp directed the pilot and seven episodes of the CW single camera comedy, Significant Mother, starring Josh Zuckerman, Krista Allen, Jay Ali and Jonathan Silverman. Tripp’s other episodic directing experience includes two episodes of the smash hit drama, Pretty Little Liars for Freeform.  In the short form digital space, Tripp has directed series for YouTube, Facebook and Hulu including two seasons, twenty episodes, of the drama series Talent, five episodes of Dating Rules From My Future Self, and all six episodes of the romantic fantasy series Wendy.

    As an independent filmmaker, Tripp’s first feature film, The Confidence Man premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and won awards at the Ft. Lauderdale Film Fest and the Munich Film Festival.   He has directed numerous award winning shorts as well as two SyFy Channel films and numerous straight to DVD features for Sony & MGM including the sequels, Walking Tall: The Payback and Walking Tall: Lone Justice.
